Stacy Castellanos, MA
Stacy Castellanos joined the Center for Vulnerable Populations in June 2019 working with Dr. Margot Kushel as Project Director for the HOPE HOME study, which focuses on health outcomes in people experiencing homelessness in older middle age. Stacy is also a project director within the Department of Anthropology, History, and Social Medicine working with Dr. Kelly Knight for the ECROP study, which focuses on examining the consequences of reductions in opioid prescribing on patients, clinical care, and community health. Stacy graduated 2017 from San Francisco State University with a M.A. in Social Psychology. Stacy’s research interested focus on examining and understanding structural determinants of health that impact black and brown communities.
