Nicholas Ochoa, MA

Program Analyst, CVP & Benioff Homelessness and Housing Initiative

Prior to accepting his role with the Benioff Homelessness and Housing Initiative at the Center for Vulnerable Populations, Nicholas served as the Program Coordinator for the Government of Canada’s diplomatic mission in San Francisco. Before that, he worked as a staffer for U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer where he specialized in U.S. immigration policy. Nicholas earned an M.A. in International Relations from the University of Kent in the United Kingdom, and he also has an undergraduate degree in Political Science and Public Policy from San Jose State University. He is a dedicated public servant and is thrilled to be continuing his career in public service at UCSF, supporting a mission that he is deeply passionate about.

Nicholas is a native Bay Area resident. In his free time, you can find him hiking the East Bay hills, reading, and playing sports with his nephew.
