Nicholas Ochoa, MA

Program Analyst

Prior to accepting his role with the Benioff Homelessness and Housing Initiative and the Center for Vulnerable Populations, Nicholas served as the Program Coordinator for the Government of Canada’s diplomatic mission in San Francisco. Before that, he worked as a staffer for U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer where he specialized in U.S. immigration issues. Nicholas earned an M.A. in International Relations from the University of Kent in the United Kingdom, and he also has an undergraduate degree in Political Science and Public Policy from San Jose State University. He is a dedicated public servant and is thrilled to be continuing his career in public service with UCSF.

In his free time, you can find Nicholas hiking the East Bay hills, reading historical non-fiction, and playing sports with his nephew.
