She is a Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP) and has been with UCSF for over 10 years. The majority of her time with UC has been within healthcare research. Her last position was with the Department of Radiology and Biomedical imaging as a Project Manager working on computed tomography radiation dose optimization with over 100 facilities within 20 healthcare organizations. She is also a member of the Chicanx Latinx Campus Association (CLCA) as well as the events coordinator.

ACT also provides support, harm reduction information, connection to resources, and treatment options for hospitalized patients.
