Gina Sakoda, BS

Research Analyst

Prior to joining BHHI, Gina worked on a street outreach team affiliated with an FQHC in Downtown Oakland. Gina received a BS in Bioengineering with a minor in Global Poverty and Practice from UC Berkeley and has spent the past five years in direct service provision for folks who are unhoused in the East Bay. She hopes to further her exploration of increasing accessibility to medicine, biotechnology, and systems of care for homeless and otherwise marginalized populations through public policy research. Gina is a reading, backpacking, cooking, scenic landscapes, and music enthusiast.
