Ellie Gladstone, MPH, JD

Manager, Center for Vulnerable Populations

Ellie brings more than 20 years of experience in public health research and practice to her role as the Manager of the UCSF Center for Vulnerable Populations where she provides strategic direction, develops partnerships, and collaboratively manages program operations. Ellie holds a BA with Honors in Sociology from the University of Texas at Austin, a MPH in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from the University of California, Berkeley, and a JD from the UC Davis School of Law. She started her career at UC Berkeley in health and human rights and children's environmental health research. After attending law school, she led multidisciplinary teams working at the intersection of public health and law and policy at ChangeLab Solutions. Most recently, she provided strategic advice and expertise on complex award management and operations at the Public Health Institute. Ellie is a passionate advocate for health equity and justice and deeply committed to supporting communities to create conditions in which everyone can thrive.
