Research Analyst, Latinx Center of Excellence (LCOE)
Carla Fernández is a Research Analyst with the UCSF Latinx Center of Excellence (LCOE) in the Division of Internal Medicine. She provides programmatic support to three LCOE programs: the ALAS Program, FUEGO and the Aspiring Physician’s Program (APP) at San Francisco State University. She graduated from UC Berkeley with a BA in Psychology and Legal Studies. She plans to obtain a PhD in Clinical Psychology. Carla looks forward to giving back to her community as a queer woman of color and hopes to make an impact on fellow Latinx scholars.She is an avid animal lover with lizards, snakes and dogs currently cohabitating with her.
