On Oct. 30, Chancellor Sam Hawgood, MBBS, will deliver his fifth State of the University address, with the theme “Commitment to the Community.”

The address, from noon to 1 p.m., will be presented live in Cole Hall on the Parnassus campus and from UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland. It will be live streamed here and simulcast at Byers Hall in Genentech Hall at Mission Bay, Herbst Hall at Mount Zion as well as in Fresno.

UCSF at ZSFG will host a viewing party in conference room 7M30 (7th floor, bldg. 5) on the Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital campus. Lunch is available to those who RSVP and list ZSFG as their viewing location.

Joining the Chancellor for his presentation will be Margot Kushel, MD, professor of medicine and director of the Center for Vulnerable Populations at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center, and Dayna Long, MD, medical director for the Department of Community Health and Engagement at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland.
