Carlo Juarez is a Program Coordinator at UCSF’s Center for Vulnerable Populations (CVP). Mr. Juarez first joined the CVP in 2016 while working for Dr. Rebecca Sudore as a research assistant for the PREPARE study. In 2017, he became an integral part of the Research in Implementation Science for Equity team as a Program Support Analyst. He is now part of the UCSF Latinx Center of Excellence team and is responsible for coordinating the following LCOE programs: SF BUILDAPP, PROF-PATH, Clínica Martín-Baró & FUEGO.

Mr. Juarez earned two degrees from Santa Clara University, a B.A. in Spanish and a B.S. in Biology with an emphasis in Bio-Medical Studies. He successfully completed UCLA's David Geffen School of Medicine Post-baccalaureate Program and is applying to medical school. He has a background volunteering in hospital settings internationally and is passionate about becoming a physician who will promote accessible and equitable healthcare. He is an avid sports fan and he played D1 rugby for Santa Clara University.
