Sarah Lisker, BA
Sarah Lisker joined the Center for Vulnerable Populations in 2015 as a Research Analyst. She supports Dr. Urmimala Sarkar's work in health information technology, ambulatory patient safety, and the implementation of evidence-based innovations in the safety-net care setting. Specifically, Sarah focuses on the San Francisco Ambulatory Safety CEnter for iNnovaTion (ASCENT), a patient safety learning laboratory that designs, implements, and evaluates technical and workflow solutions for high-priority outpatient safety problems with an iterative, human-factors-informed approach. She graduated from UCLA in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in Geography and Environmental Studies and a focus in Geographic Information Systems and Technologies. Prior to joining CVP, Sarah worked in the technology industry, engaging in project management, human-centered design, and team development.
