Christina Rios, MPH, MSW
Christina Rios manages projects in partnership with faculty at the CVP. She has an MPH in international health, MSW in macro practice from Boston University, and a BA in Psychology and Social Behavior from UC Irvine. Christina is bilingual in Spanish and has experience in research, evaluation and project management for capacity building, health prevention and other social welfare programs. She currently serves on the UCSF School of Medicine’s “Differences Matter” initiative to promote a campus and workplace of diversity, equity and inclusion. Past work has been in the areas of workforce development, consulting with a health tech company in San Francisco, partnering with ESL (English as Second Language) for health curriculum dissemination, and program design and development in the US, Kenya and Haiti. Christina has a broad array of interest areas, including the prevention of chronic diseases locally and globally, adolescent development, and use of social media and ehealth/mhealth tools.
