Nov 19, 2014 CVP Core Faculty Dr. Hilary Seligman will be a keynote speaker at the 4th Annual Childhood Obesity Bay Area Conference.
There will also be a live performance from The Bigger Picture.
This year's two-day conference will include six keynote addresses, panel discussions, break-out sessions, and a slam poetry performance. COBA 2015 will feature more opportunities in the spirit of Slow Food, such as tastings from sustainable wineries at Friday night's reception, an optional garden tour, and small group dinners.

Nov 20, 2014 In this brief video, "How to Talk to Your Patients About Quitting Smoking: A New Video for Health Providers" Steve Schroeder, M.D., UCSF Professor of Medicine and Director of the Smoking Cessation Leadership Center, discusses the importance of asking, advising and referring smokers to the California Smokers’ Helpline. Dean Schillinger, M.D., Chief, Division of Internal Medicine, San Francisco General Hospital, provides a brief demonstration of how to talk to a patient in less than three minutes about quitting smoking.
