CVP Faculty Neda Ratanawongsa, MD, Associate Chief Medical Informatics Officer, San Francisco General Hospital will be a presenter for an AHRQ webinar on April 29th.
The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) is hosting a webinar Friday, April 29 from 2-3:30 p.m. ET, on how health IT can support the information needs of patients served by primary care teams. The presenters will highlight the perspectives of practice-based research networks (PBRNs) on using health information technology to facilitate access to care, encourage patient engagement, and improve health care quality.

A new publication from CVP Faculty member Hilary Seligman, MD, MAS was recently featured in the Center for Care Innovation's monthly newsletter. The new publication looks at food insecurity among patients with chronic disease. Read the article here.|
Dr. Seligman's work was also recently highlighted during a San Francisco Board of Supervisors hearing on food insecurity in San Francisco. The San Francisco Department of Public Health Food Insecurity Task Force presented at the hearing and proposed a food voucher program for food insecure seniors receiving Social Security.
